Welcome to Black Swan Designs, home to the creations of Mel Blowes, crafty entreprenuer, professional photographer and graphic designer based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Black Swan Designs specialises in panoramic photographic images and laser cut jewellery, which can be found online and at felt.co.nz and etsy.com, and at various stockists throughout New Zealand.

Mel completed her Bachelor of Design at Christchurch Polytechnic, and has Certificates in Professional and Digital Photography. She has taken part in several exhibitions and one of her images graces the book cover of the fourth edition of ‘Some Other Country’, a collection of New Zealand short stories.
